He has joined the Jenewein Group in January 2020. In his role as Client Partner, he focuses on executive search services with a specific focus on Private & Family Companies. Within the Czech-Slovak platform Jenewein.private, he focuses on establishing and maintaining long-term partnerships with owners of major privately-owned and family companies, helping them to identify and select suitable and experienced leaders for key management positions, taking into consideration unique ecosystem of this environment, its specific internal relationships, interconnections and rules of operation. As an independent advisor, along with other team members, he assists families and shareholders in making the right decisions not only on leadership, succession, organization, and corporate governance but also on other important topics.
In terms of specialization, his domain is mainly industrial manufacturing projects with an emphasis on the Automotive Industry. Based on his deep experience in this sector, he is a member of the Global Amrop Practice Group Industrial. He cooperates with many major Slovak and international companies, assisting them in the needs of new leaders with experience in new technologies, such as eco-friendly drives and materials within environmental sustainability, automated driving, safety, and digitization.
Rastislav Mackanič began his career at the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia, where he was in charge of recruitment of new members and servicing to AmCham members, coordination of AmCham Committees, official communication with state authorities and business community in Slovakia, and office finance. After he left AmCham, he began to focus on executive search services. During more than fifteen years with global Management Consulting company, he worked on hundreds of Executive Search projects in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and other European Union countries in various management positions. He has been focused on consulting solutions for various clients to identify relevant leaders for their positions on B and B-1 levels across all sectors, with a particular focus on the Automotive Industry.
He graduated from the City University of Seattle in Bratislava with a degree in Business Management and Administration.
